STOCKTON (CBS13) – A Thursday night drive-by shooting has left three people hurt and one person dead, authorities said.

The Stockton Police Department said an undisclosed number of suspects opened fire on the 800 block of Windsail Lane after 7:00 p.m., striking four victims in a residential garage and leaving dozens of spent shells littering the street.

Three of the victims are being treated for non-life threatening injuries, and the fourth was killed. The identity of the deceased victim has not been released.

The circumstances leading up to the incident have not been released, but police described the violence as a potentially gang-related drive-by shooting.

Authorities have not released descriptions of any suspects.

Um HELLO? I lived on William Moss around the corner….the whole community
is in shambles. Terrible place to be/live! I had to get out of there for my safety. We are a quiet family but sleeping with one eye open isn’t a way to live.
