Roseville Police Arrest Two After Chase, Crash Into Ditch

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) — A vehicle theft interrupted by a Roseville resident led to a pursuit that ended in a ditch on Thursday morning, according to police.

A resident called police at about 7:47 a.m. to report the attempted vehicle theft. Police located the suspects in a pick-up truck and gave pursuit on Foothills Boulevard. The suspects then headed west on Blue Oaks but hit a dead-end into a field. They reportedly drove through a gate onto a grave road, up an embankment and then crashed into a ditch.

The passenger was injured and taken into custody. The driver attempted to run from officers but was apprehended.

The truck was possibly carjacked in Sacramento on Dec. 15, police said.

The suspects are facing charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, failing to yield to officers and attempted vehicle theft.

The names of the suspects weren’t immediately released.

I dont understand why this happened i know these two men and they are decent righteous people. Something isnt right

  3. Peggy says:

Ashley, nothing “decent” about anyone carjacking a truck, then trying to steal another. I was on Foothills when the FLEW past me IN THE OPPOSING LANE OF TRAFFIC, going AT LEAST 100MPH, risking many lives just to save their POS selves. It is a miracle no-one else was injured or KILLED. You lead police on a high speed chase and risk countless lives, you should be charged with attempted murder. Jerks. I bet their parents are REAL PROUD.

I as well was almost rear ended and killed yesterday morning by these JO’s driving down foothills yesterdsay morning!! As I followed hoping I would find them crashed like I did..much to my disappointment they lived!!! Amazing how someone could risk SO MANY other peoples lives on they’re way to an honest job running from trying to steal from hard working individuals like ourselves that were on our way to make an honest living!!!

As the Parent of the Passenger, this disease is absolutley nothing to be proud of. BUT ONE THING I CAN TELL YOU IS I LOVE MY SON UNCONDITIONALLY. Thank GOD you are all safe and thank GOD he has another plan for him and he is alive. Maybe if we had more funding for treatment, we could help those who just don’t know how to change there lives around.

We could not live and enjoy life as other people do. We had to have something different and we thought we had found it in drugs. We placed their use ahead of the welfare of our families, our wives, husbands, and our children. We had to have drugs at all costs. We did many people great harm but most of all we harmed ourselves. Through our inability to accept personal responsibilities we were actually creating our own problems. We seemed to be incapable of
facing life on its own terms. Most of us realized that in our addiction we were slowly committing suicide, but addiction is such a cunning enemy of life that we had lost the power to do anything about it. Many of us ended up in jail or sought help through medicine, religion, and psychiatry. None of these methods was sufficient for us. Our disease always resurfaced or continued to progress until
in desperation we sought help from each other in Narcotics Anonymous.
After coming to NA, we realized we were sick people. We suffered from a disease from which there is no known cure. It can, however, be arrested at some point and recovery is then possible.
IT IS NOT OK, IT IS REAL, IT IS A DISEASE, AND STONE SHOULD NOT BE CAST, BUT PRAYERS SHOULD. PLEASE GOD ASSIST THESE TO MEN TO A BETTER WAY TO LIVE AS THERE IS 2 AMAZING KIND HEARTED PEOPLE DEEP INSIDE THEM..AMEN
