Sacramento Homicide Suspect Arrested In Reno
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Nevada police arrested a man who allegedly killed his close friend in Sacramento and then drove away in his vehicle, authorities said.
The Sacramento Police Department said the murder victim, described as a white male in his 50s, was found dead at an industrial business on the 6200 block of Sky Creek Drive shortly after 9:00 a.m.
Friends identified the victim as 53-year-old David Pare, the founder of Pare Composites, a company that makes high end parts for motorcycles and other vehicles.
The victim's pickup truck was missing from the scene, and authorities said Reno police detained a suspect driving the victim's car Friday afternoon.
Sacramento investigators said they have received a report that the victim and suspect had been in an altercation Thursday night.
