Armed Robber Demands Drugs At Modesto Pharmacy
MODESTO (CBS13) - A pharmacy was robbed at gunpoint in Modesto on Saturday and the criminal wasn't looking for cash, according to police.
A man walked into the CVS store on Briggsmore Avenue and demanded that pharmacists give him prescription drugs.Authorities say he demanded Codeine. When the pharmacist gave it to him, he ran out.
Fortunately, surveillance cameras were rolling during the robbery.
