CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) – Police have arrested one man and are searching for another following a home invasion in Citrus Heights Tuesday night.
Police say several 9-1-1 calls came in around 9:15 last night reporting two armed men entering a home on Dewey Drive and Summer Rain Way.
The thieves took off with a safe from the home through the back door.
A sheriff’s helicopter was called in and spotted one of the suspects in a creek.
Officers on the ground arrested him, but the second suspect is still missing.
The family was not physically hurt during the robbery.
The case is under investigation.
