The Don Geronimo Show - January 23, 2012

Today, Don begins by telling us that everybody wanted to talk about Craig's tattoo over the weekend. The pictures of Craig's rear end even made it on deadspin.com! Don calls in Craig to talk about the tattoo, the Niner game yesterday, spending the day with his girlfriend Paris, and even plays audio from the tailgate party. The guys also talk about the passing of Joe Paterno over the weekend, and Don says that he and Etta James have started a new trifecta, so Don asks who's next?

After playing a series of clips, including Steven Tyler's National Anthem at the AFC Championship game, and Kristin Chenoweth's Anthem at the NFC Championship game, Dave tells us that he skipped a dentist appointment last week, which leads him to reset the "mangled teeth" story, in which his dentist told him they would basically have to obliterate his mouth, then wire his jaw shut, just to fix his teeth. Don then tells us his ventriloquist story from his elementary school days, in which the head of his dummy fell off in front of the entire middle school he performed for.

Don then pulls out a poll from ashleymadison.com of the top 10 women that men would most cheat with. This gets the guys on another discusssion of who their favorite women are, which leads them to talk about their favorite women on ESPN.
It's then time for another visit from our good friend, NFL on FOX Officiating Expert Mike Pereira. Mike breaks down the officiating of the two championship games on Sunday.

After a lengthy discussion on who would play the captain in a movie about the Italian cruise liner that sank, it's time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom tells us about the GOP race, and the South Carolina primary, Traci Morgan collapsing at Sundance, American Idol slipping in the ratings, and the box office numbers from ver the weekend. And f course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
