Matt Steinmetz with CSN Bay Area joins the show to talk Warriors basketball. Sharing his thoughts on Mark Jackson Steinmetz said, “I like his demeanor and the way he communicates with his players.” I would like to see however a little more openness with his players. Steinmetz goes on to speak with Grant about Stephen Curry and his re-accruing injury to his ankles. Steinmetz feels that the Warriors are not in panicking about it. The Warriors shut him down for 8 games, that’s the longest time he has been out. He will be okay with no long term effects. Switching gears a little bit and talking about Keith Smart who coached the Warriors last year and improved the team by 10 wins before the Warriors decided to go a different direction. Steinmetz said a lot of people think Keith got screwed; Keith Smart should be coaching this team this year. The players really liked playing for him.
