OAKLAND (AP) — Occupy Oakland protesters plan to take to the streets again Saturday, exactly one week after a rally turned chaotic leading to hundreds of protesters being arrested and a mass break-in of City Hall.

Members of the group plan on marching the several blocks from City Hall to Oakland police headquarters to protest what they claim is abuse at the hands of officers during last Saturday’s protest.

That protest peaked with rock and bottle throwing from demonstrators and volleys of tear gas were fired in response from the police.

More than 400 people were arrested and at least three officers and one protester were injured.

Meanwhile, Oakland Mayor Jean Quan says that vandalism and activities related to Occupy Oakland has cost the city $5 million since the first protest tent popped up outside City Hall in October.

I hope the libturd city is making the protesters pay for all the police and damage they did. Probably not because they agree with their libturd aganda. Maybe the taxpayers should pay. They’re the one’s that put their idiotic politicians in office.

Protesters pay? They have to have money first, before they can pay. I really think most of them are homeless and this is a Big Party for them. They are used to living in squaller, This is normal living except they have centralized Homelessness. A sane person could not live under those conditions. Homeles people are used to not taking a bath sleeping where ever and going to the bathroom anywhere they wish. Those type of people really make you want to be an Occupier. Our States, Towns, and Cities are deep in debt and they are costing taxpayers more money. But it will not affect them, because they don’t work or their Mama supports them to keep them away from her life.

  • Kevin Sundstrom

Yeah, Occupy Oakland has cost the city 5 million dollars… meanwhile the settlements paid out to recipients of brutality lawsuits against OPD have totaled 58 million. So who is really wasting the city’s money?

Anyway, mac and raptor, shut the **** up. You don’t know what you’re talking about. If a rumor went around claiming the occupiers were slow roasting babies in their camps you’d flock to the internet to crow about it and claim it’s the liberal Obama agenda’s fault that all those poor babies were being eaten.

  • MAC49

Now Kevin Sundstrom, 5 million opposed to 58 million, Damn those OPD they should all lose their jobs, cost the taxpayers that kind of money. Kevin, add all the money ocupiers have cost this country and the libturds Judges and attorneys. So your theory, Let the Occupiers run out of control destroy what ever they want, set up tents, throw garbage everywhere, go to the bathroom anywhere, taxpayers pay to clean up their mess. And that is better, Why? Excuss me, Excuse Me, Because it cost less to clean up, than to pay lawsuits against the OPD. Kevin Shut the ****up Your ignorant, as the occupiers, or maybe are one.
