SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A man has been killed and another man and woman are in the hospital following a deadly crash near Sacramento State University overnight, according to authorities.

Police say one car was involved in the crash after midnight at J Street at Carlson Drive.

Rain and speed appear to be factors and police are looking into whether alcohol was also involved.

However, the investigation is still underway.

Police have to wait to question the two victims in the crash who are in serious condition.

The victim’s name has not been released.
