Crop-Dusting Helicopter Crashes In San Joaquin County

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY (CBS13) – A crop-dusting helicopter crashed in the San Joaquin County town of Farmington late Wednesday morning injuring one, according to the FAA.

The single-seat Wasp helicopter crashed around 11:30am while crop dusting in Farmington about 15 miles east of Stockton.

Ian Gregor from the FAA says the helicopter was destroyed. However, the pilot was conscious after the crash and was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

No other information was immediately available.

    Do we have any way of finding out what hospital the person was taken to.
    I believe this may be a family friend and we have not been able to get in contact with this person.

      Pilot went to St. Joeseph in Stockton.
