Corrections Officer Arrested Twice For Threatening Employees At A Business

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A state corrections officer who was arrested for pulling out a gun at a local business Wednesday night has been re-arrested for doing it again.

Deputies say 37-year-old Taurus Collins walked into West Coast Car Audio near the intersection of Arden Way and Fulton Avenue in Sacramento just after 9 p.m. Wednesday and demanded service. Appearing to be unhappy with the service, Collins went out to his car and came back with a gun.

An employee called 911 and deputies arrived at the business and arrested Collins. He was later released from jail after posting bail.

On Thursday morning at around 11 a.m., Collins allegedly returned to the business and made threats to injure the employees. An employee again called 911, but apparently left before deputies arrived.

In a strange twist, Collins walked into the Sheriff's headquarters 45 minutes later to file a complaint. Deputies pieced together the facts and took Collins into custody.
