The house is at 3339 Parque Way. Firefighters and police responded to the scene after the fire first broke out around 6 p.m.

A 21-year-old man inside the home is accused of setting the fire after a family argument, according to Sacramento police. The man was arrested outside the home armed with knives, Sacramento police Sgt. Andrew Pettit said.

The suspect, whose name wasn't released, reportedly tried to flee in his parents' car and hit a neighbor's car before police took him into custody.

The house, built in 2005, is four bedrooms and 2,078 square feet, according to online records. A fire official said it's possible more than spot in the home was set on fire because of how fast the house burned.

"That's what the investigator is going to have to determine," Sacramento Fire's Richard Payan said.
