Natomas Man Accused Of Secretly Videotaping Neighbor Inside Her Home

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Neighbors in a quiet north Natomas neighborhood are freaked out after learning what one of their neighbors allegedly did to another.

Cops say 40-year-old Marc McCormick was caught videotaping his Regency Park neighbor, not just through a window but inside the victim's home while she was inside her shower. She called police and McCormick was arrested on Thursday. The two were friends prior to the incident, according to police.

"I'm a wife, you know," one neighbor said. "You never expect those things to happen to you.

"Surprising. Shocked," said a male neighbor. "Very unhappy."

What's worse is cops say they believe this was not the first time McCormick was filming the mother - who CBS13 is not identifying.

"I'm sure she's just a nervous wreck right now," another neighbor said.

With McCormick out of jail on bond, we stopped by his home Friday to get a comment. A woman inside peered though a window but no one ever came to the door.

Those living in this area are unnerved, not only that a person's privacy was violated, but because the suspect lives there as well.

"You never know, if it can happen around here it can happen anywhere," the neighbor said. "I'm glad they caught him."
