ELVERTA (CBS13) – Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies have no suspects and few clues in the death of man found shot to death in Elverta early Wednesday morning.

Deputies were called to the 1700 block of Kasser Road in Elverta just after 2 a.m. for reports of someone lying in the roadway.

Officers arrived to find the body of a man in his 30s with several gunshot wounds to his upper body.

Investigators have not identified any suspects nor do they know a motive for the shooting.

The name of the victim has not been released.
