ELK GROVE (CBS13) – Elk Grove police are asking for the public to help locate an at-risk missing teenage girl.
Shabnam Ahmadyar, 15, has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and functions below her age level, say police. She left her home in the 4800 block of Chamberlain Circle on Friday at around 4:30 p.m. and hasn’t been seen since.
Shabnam is described as Middle Eastern, 5-foot-5, 125 lbs. with black hair pulled back in a ponytail and brown eyes. She was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and matching sweat pants. She didn’t take any identification with her, nor did she take medication.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Shabnam is asked to contact the Elk Grove Police Department Dispatch Center at (916) 691-5246.
