The Don Geronimo Show - April 5, 2012

Today, Dave breaks two microphones within the first 5 minutes of the show! We then hear about tonight's dodgeball game between the guys of DGS and the cast of Good Day Sacramento, and apparently Phantom, after yesterday's show, tried to convince Little Joe and Craig to turn on Dave during the game and throw their balls at him (Joe and Craig said "no, we can't do that to our good buddy"). After Don tells us the frog that kept him up the other night wasn't in his backyard last night, we hear about the videos and pictures of Noodles from last week's KNCI "Ladies Night" event, in which he looked like a scared junior high schooler around the ladies. We also hear about his tweets last night at the Uncle Kracker show in Davis. Don then tells us about a new show on the BBC called "The Undatables," and says if there is ever an Amercian version of this show, Dennis Murphy would be perfect for it!

Don then reads a few news stories, including Mary J. Blige saying she hates the new Burger King ad of her, a Jackson 5 reunion tour (obviously without Michael), and Whitney's final autopsy report saying she was coked up when she died, among other things. We then get a visit from former Sacramento King Doug Christie, and his wife Jackie, who are coming out with a new sexy TV show. Doug and Jackie talk about their new show, their love for Sacramento, and how happy their marriage is.

After the guys decide that their dodgeball team name will be "Therapists" tonight, Don talks about the new NFL uniforms made by Nike, and the Green Bay Packers wanting their traditional jerseys instead. We also hear a tape of Gregg Williams (former New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator, and the center of the Saints' "bounty" controversy) saying before their playoff game against the 49ers that he wanted his team to hurt certain 49ers players.

Dave and Phantom then play a new game called "Soundbyte Concentration," in which they have to guess where Don put his new Patton Oswalt bytes in his machine. Don then calls in Craig to another round of "Craig calls celebrities, before it's time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom talks about Madonna flirting with Britney on Twitter, the USA TODAY having trouble selling ad space, Gordon Ramsey opens a new steakhouse in Vegas, and a Dutch designer that has created a dress that becomes see through when the wearer is aroused.

And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
