SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY (CBS13) – Police are investigating a deadly crash overnight near Manteca.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. on East Roth Road and South Airport Way just north of the downtown area of Manteca.

Police say two cars collided head-on, killing one driver and inuring another. It’s unknown how badly the injured driver was hurt.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
