Fire Burns At Citrus Heights Apartment Building
CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) - Fire has damaged two apartment units in Citrus Heights.
At around 11:20 a.m., Sacramento Metro firefighters were called out to the apartment at 7720 Mariposa Avenue. Initial reports suggested 12 children may have been inside the apartment that caught fire.
Firefighters say the fire started in a ground floor apartment and spread to the one just above. They were quickly able to get the blaze under control and found the units empty.
Investigators say the cause of the fire was accidental.
