The Don Geronimo Show - May 2, 2012

Don begins the day with a bee update, in which the beekeeper that came to their house estimated about 60,000 bees in the nest that was built in their walls. We also hear about Don's visit to Papa Murphy's last night, in which the guy in front of him had burned his pizza at home, brought it back, and got a new one. We also hear that the hack radio show across the street is posting the oral surgery of one of their members, and charging for it. Don show us the pictures of the guy's teeth, and they're worse than Dave's! Don then tells us about a preacher at a Baptist church in North Carolina who encourages beating children who show signs of gayness. Don plays a clip of the preacher's homophobic comments.

After discussing a new Jerry Seinfeld project that includes Larry David, Ricky Gervais, and Alec Baldwin, and hearing another awful parody song about Newt Gingrich dropping out of the GOP race, Don calls the church that the homophobic preacher works at. We then get a visit from our good buddy Frank Caliendo, who tells us about his show in Dallas over the weekend, and has his son play the drums on the air. He also does a few of his signature impersonations, and tells us about his upcoming gig in Florida. Don then tells us about a man who got busted for breaking into a barn and giving a female horse oral, which gets the guy into a conversation about how one would go about performing such an act on such an animal. We then get a visit from our friend Lindsey Pavao. Lindsey, who was voted off "The Voice" last night, tells us about her experience on the show, having no regrets for her performances and song choices, and wants to come into the studio next time she's in town!

After hearing a clip of a faith healer getting exposed by James Randi, it's time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom tells us about 4 New Orleans Saints being suspended for the bounty scandal, a lottery winner who may have to forfeit her winnings, and most Americans don't drink enough water. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
