Grainger Opens New Distribution Center In Patterson

PATTERSON (CBS13) – Tuesday was a big day in Patterson as a large distribution center held its grand opening.

Grainger's new facility on Keystone Pacific Parkway will bring more than 2,000 jobs to the area. Grainger distributes maintenance supplies.

Company officials say part of the reason for choosing Patterson is its proximity to Interstate 5.

Kohl's and CVS Pharmacy also have shipping centers in Patterson. And Amazon.com just announced it is building a large facility there that is scheduled to be completed by the second quarter of 2013.
