It’s fight night! Don and the guys are at the Woodlake Inn in Sacramento for the big Blind Boxing Match between Little Joe and Blind Neal! Don and the guys talk about the scene in the Woodlake ballroom, and as the ring is being set up, Little Joe interviews a few of the people responsible for the set up. We also meet a new intern named Robert, who used to work at a Christian radio station, and now that he is at 1140 The Fan, he wants to go to the Bunny Ranch! Steve pulls out his guitar and plays an off-the-cuff song about Michelle Beadle’s twitter pic of her and a statue of a naked monkey, and once the ring is set up, Craig and Joe go into the ring for a quick warm up, before the crowd starts to arrive. Among the fans who show up early are loyal listener Star, and her husband Jessie, and Jerkman88, who are all there to support Joe.
The guys also talk to former kickboxing champion Eric Regan, who will be guest refereeing the fight. Eric tapes up Joe’s wrists, as Joe taps his foot with nervous energy, in eager anticipation. After Neal gets taped up, and we hear another Steve Bryant song, it’s finally time for the big match! Joe DOMINATES the entire 3 round bout, with Neal even quitting halfway through the third, yet for some reason, the judges, including Tony “The Tiger” Lopez, score a split decision for Neal! After the fight, the guys discuss the travesty of Joe getting robbed, and Neal even ADMITS he lost!
The guys watch a few of the real boxing matches afterwards, including a girl on girl match, and a couple heavyweights that exchanged haymakers the entire bout. Phantom has an abbreviated news segment that includes the upcoming movies this weekend, and the guys wrap up the amazing night!
