SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Investigators are looking the cause of a grass fire early Monday morning near Garden Highway in Sacramento.

Workers in the control tower at Sacramento International Airport thought they saw flames and called 9-1-1.

Fire crews arrived to the 7600 blcok of Garden Highway to find the fire had spread to a home.

Firefighters couldn’t save the home, which eventually collapsed in the damage.

The home may have been vacant at the time.
