The Don Geronimo Show - June 26, 2012

Don begins with the Extreme Amy tweets over the weekend, inspired by a few conversations we had on the show last week. We then hear Slow Joe's story about walking the dog early this morning, in which he saw a guy hiding from his drunk girlfriend. After revisiting Steve's bully revenge story, BiPolar Mary calls in to tell us she's been off her meds for 5 days. We then hear that at the prison Jerry Sandusky has been sent to, the prisoners are singing Pink Floyd to him at night. Phantom then tells us about his trip to Fullerton over the weekend with his son Kyle, and we hear a mash up Craig did for Phantom, involving The Knack and John Wayne.

After Don calls the house of Karen Klein- the bus monitor who got bullied on youtube last week, and talks to her son, Don tells us about a banner plane in New Jersey that towed a swastika above a beach over the weekend, and the guys discuss who will replace Ann Curry on the "Today" show. Don then calls a few places in Sandusky Ohio to see how they're handling the Jerry Sandusky conviction. Don then calls a Wal Mart in Arizona where a man was caught defecating on the store's floor. We also get a visit from comedian Greg Proops. Greg, who will be performing at the Punchline in Sac this Saturday, talks to us about being on "Who's Line Is It Anyway?", "Chelsey Lately," and "Bob The Builder," as well as doing his podcast. After Don hangs up on him twice for his "What not" comments, Greg tells us about comedians who helped him along the way, and his new improv show on ABC, "Trust Us With Your Life," with Wayne Brady.

We then hear Steve's parody song about Rob, Arnie, and Dawn, Craig's mashup again, and Phantom "Gottfried does Dice," before hearing a guy dressed like Elmo in New York go on an anti-semitic rant, and Steve tells us about the time he had to sell "yeast infection panties" on the QVC. Don then calls a McDonalds in Lowell, MA to ask them about a guy who threw hot fries on his daughter. We then hear clips from Conan on Piers Morgan, beore it's time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom talks about another lawsuit against John Travolta involving inappropriate sexual activity, the top 10 movies over the weekend, Whoopi Goldberg feuding with Barbara Walters, and McDonalds opening their largest store ever in the Olympic Village in London.
