SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police used a battering ram to get inside a medical marijuana shop after three suspects broke in early Thursday morning attempting to steal pot-infused candy and other items.

An alarm company monitoring Northstar Holistic Collective on 13th and C Streets called a security guard about a possible break-in. The guard showed up and held one suspect outside at gunpoint until police arrived.

Officers used a battering ram to force their way inside the business where the other two suspects were holed up.

The suspects were found with marijuana-laced chocolate bars, suckers and other items.
