Tracy Inmate Walks Away From Minimum Security Facility

TRACY (CBS13) – The search is on for an inmate who walked away from a minimum security facility in Tracy early Sunday morning.

Enrique Contreras, 25, went missing at 2:30 a.m. from the Deuel Vocational Institution.

He is serving nearly three year for second degree burglary from San Joaquin County.

Contreras is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 135 pounds, and has brown hair and hazel eyes.

He was last seen wearing blue prison clothing with “CDCR Prisoner” written on the clothing.

The institution houses approximately 2,500 inmates from 22 Northern California counties.

Inmates consist of minimum and medium custody general population male inmates.
