SWAT Officers Resume Standoff At South Sacramento Home
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sacramento County Sheriff's SWAT deputies rushed inside a home where two suspects in the slaying of a 3-year-old may have been hiding.
At around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, dozens of deputies entered the home on 61st Street near Jansen Avenue and found no one inside; however at about 10:52 a.m., deputies apparently discovered a suspect or suspects, fired tear gas inside the home and brought in a K9 officer.
Deputies had surrounded the home in an attempt to serve two felony warrants.
Deputies CBS13 spoke to would not confirm the warrants being served on the suspects were for the slaying of 3-year-old Jorge Azios.
The suspects in that case have been identified as 20-year-old Gabriel Quintero, 17-year-old Eric Minjares and 16-year-old Marcus Weber.
