The Don Geronimo Show - August 7, 2012

Don begins by telling us he hit a rabbit on the way in today, then plays a tape of a woman who kept calling in to the KNCI hotline during Rosie's show over the weekend, and cursing at Rosie (off air) for not being who she was trying to call. Don then pulls out his list of the best and worst NFL uniforms this season, and while the guys agree and disagree with a few of his choices, Steve has absolutely no idea what they're talking about! So Don plays a game with Steve to see if he can guess the uniform colors of different NFL teams, and he fails horribly. Don then calls Janet's Aunt Betty in Pennsylvania to talk about the wedding they attended over the weekend, and the amazing back rub she gave Don. She also does an intro for Phantom News!

After we hear that Arnold Schwarzenegger's mom thought he was gay when he was a kid, and Craig tells us about his love for the Ultimate Warrior, Don tells us about the weird guy in his neighborhood who jogs in a Speedo. Janet even sees the guy during the show and texts Don a picture of him. we then hear about Mike and Molly being on the cover of the "Enquirer," and a few clips from the Roseanne Roast, that airs in a few weeks on Comedy Central. We also hear that Jeffrey Ross' "Aurora" joke won't make it on the Comedy Central special. We then hear a few new 911 calls, including a deaf woman who gets tasered, and a guy who calls Emergency asking for beer. After hearing that Rod Carew is NOT a Jew, Don tells us that a man was arrested at a Cleveland theater for bringing in weapons to a midnight showing of the Dark Knight Rises. Don then tells a few Dexter Manley stories, and we hear about a 6 year old who had a lego stuck up his nose for 3 years.

Don then tells us about a water park in Germany that has a ride that destroys vaginas, and calls up a doctor named Emily Gibson, who thinks people should "end the war on pubic hair." The guys then talk TV, including "Newsroom," and "Suits," before getting into a lengthy discussion about the movie "That Thing You Do," and a disagreement over a scene in the movie between Don and Steve lead to a new bet to put in the "Bet Book." It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour."

Today, Phantom tells us about the passing of composer Marvin Hamlisch at 68, a man robs a Wal Mart wearing a Tina Turner wig, a woman who doesn't pull over for cops because she's topless, and Michael Clark Duncan is out of the hospital. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
