UPDATE: Oakland Teen Mother, Baby Found Safe

OAKLAND (CBS13) - A teen mother and her 2-month-old daughter were located and found to be safe on Thursday after reportedly being abducted at gunpoint in Oakland on Wednesday night by the baby's father.

An Amber Alert was issued at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday for Angelica Lopez, 17, and Enalina Hernandez. The California Highway Patrol said both the mother and baby were found in Oakland sometime around 3 p.m.

The suspect, Marcos Hernandez, 19, remains at large.

Hernandez is considered armed and dangerous. He may be traveling in the area of Sacramento County driving a silver 2006 Ford Focus. If anyone sees the vehicle or suspect Lopez they are asked to call 911 immediately.

Hernandez is described as Hispanic age 19, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 185 pounds, short black hair and brown eyes.

On Wednesday at 11:10 p.m., the Oakland Police Department responded to the 2700 block of Alvingroom Court on a report of an assault and kidnapping.

When officers arrived on scene they met with witnesses who told the police that the victim and daughter had been kidnapped at gunpoint by the father and a second suspect who may go by the nickname Weecho.
