The Don Geronimo Show - August 13, 2012

Today, Steve is back, and cancer free! The guys then talk about why the Olympic closing ceremonies sucked, and Chad Johnson getting arrested on Saturday, and cut by the Dolphins on Sunday. After Don tells us about his Saturday evening, including watching Sabado Gigante, Big Brother Live, and J. Edgar, we hear about Slow Joe's emails to Don, about his TV Show ideas. Little Joe then tells us about his weekend trip to Vegas, and the fun he had with his new buddy, "Frank the Tank." We then hear Steve's new parody song about Noodles, and the guys hear a few clips from the Olympics, including a montage of announcers ripping athletes, and the crowd singing "Imagine" during the closing ceremonies. We also hear a few clips from the Roast of Roseanne, which aired on Comedy Central last night.

After Don plays around with live webcam sex website, we get a visit from Greg Papa, voice of the Oakland Raiders. Greg tells us about the new era of Raider football without Al Davis, how much the organization has changed since his passing, how excited he is to see Carson Palmer and Darren McFadden play together this year, and his favorite Raiders of all time. After the guys play another round of Phantom's "Greatest NFL Players" game, the guys watch a video of an old man on a rascal trying to cross 4 lanes of traffic, and Don reads a list of Olympic items that are being auctioned off. Don also reads a list of "celebrities who have extra nipples," and then plays an old tape from his days at 99X in New York, from 1976.

It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom tells us that Jennifer Aniston is engaged, a man has filed a civil lawsuit over a black man bagging his groceries, and a drunk guy crawls into a dumpster, and ends up compacted in a garbage truck. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
