Rubicon Brewery Expanding To West Sacramento
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sacramento's oldest active brewery is expanding across the river into West Sacramento.
Rubicon Brewing Company has begun construction on a new brewery in West Sacramento that will allow it to brew ten times more beer than it can at its current location.
Construction has already begun on the 16,000+ square foot brewery on Stillwater Road.
Rubicon's owner, Glynn Phillips says they will continue to brew test batches at their Sacramento pub, but they can only brew 2,000 barrels at that site.
He hopes the new brewery will be up and running by the end of the year.
