STOCKTON (CBS13) – A 3-alarm fire that heavily damaged a Stockton warehouse overnight is being investigated.

The fire took over a warehouse on south California Street at east Hazelton Avenue.

Neighbors say they heard loud explosions before the fire started.

The warehouse houses a nursery and a general contracting business.

The fire grew to three alarms before crews were able to get it under control.

Investigators are now looking into the cause.
