Forget the start of the NFL season today, or the playoff runs of the San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics. Tonight our own Sacramento River Cats begin their 11th playoff run seeking their fifth Pacific Coast League title in 13 seasons.

The Cats host the Reno Aces tonight and Thursday before heading to The Biggest Little City for the remainder of the best of five series.

Word is there are plenty of tickets available for tonight and tomorrow. If the Cats get by Reno, two more potential home dates open up on Sept. 11-12 for the second round.
