MODESTO (CBS13) – A man’s body was found behind the Modesto Senior Center on Wednesday afternoon and police are investigating the case as a murder.

The body of a Hispanic man in his 30s was discovered just north of the senior center in an alley in the 100 block of Melrose Street. It was covered up by a yellow tarp as dozens of investigators worked the scene Wednesday afternoon.

Four people were detained for questioning but no arrests had been made.

Police suspect the man died from at least one stab wound. The senior center has been closed for repairs since June.
