The Grant Napear Show - September 14, 2012

Today on the Grant Napear Show, Jason filled in and discussed the upcoming week in the NFL as well as the Chicago Bears' loss to Green Bay on Thursday night, the Oakland A's and San Francisco Giants. Jason took calls about Jim Harbaugh, the Oakland A's selling out against Baltimore and the San Francisco Giants. Jason interviewed Gus Johnson, Marshall Sperbeck, Solomon Wilcotts and Adam Rank.

Jason talked with Gus Johnson of Fox Sports about the USC and Stanford game on Saturday. Gus talked about working with Charles Davis, as well as the importance of the play of Matt Barkley for USC and Josh Nunes of Stanford. Jason and Gus also talked about UCLA as they sit at 2-0 following their upset of Nebraska last week.
Sacramento State Head Football Coach Marshall Sperbeck joined Jason today to discuss the Hornets' season following their victory over the University of Colorado. Sperbeck talked about how they beat Colorado on the road, as well as the challenges the team faced balancing the joy of a win and getting ready for the home opener on Saturday. Jason and Sperbeck also talked about the Hornets' upcoming game against Northern Colorado.
Solomon Wilcotts from CBS Sports was on with Jason to talk about the Raiders' upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins. He talked about the expectations he has out of both the Raiders and the Dolphins. Solomon also discussed the changes that both Oakland and Miami have undergone. Finally, he talked about Adrian Peterson's stellar week one performance against the Jaguars.

Adam Rank from NFL Network joined Jason today to talk fantasy football for week two. Adam talked about possible regressions for Robert Griffin III and Kevin Ogletree. He then talked about how Peyton Manning will do and why he'll be stronger down the stretch. Adam also talked about which Raiders to play and which 49ers to play in week two.
