Today on the Grant Napear Show it was all about NFL football and the week two action that took place. Grant gave his thoughts on the Raiders and 49ers, and took calls on both of those teams as well as on the incident that took place at the end of the Giants and Buccaneers game. Grant interviewed Dennis Allen, Marshall Faulk and Jake Dalton.

Raiders’ Head Coach Dennis Allen joined Grant today to talk about the Raiders. Dennis stressed the need for consistency, as well as injury updates to Kahlif Barnes and Shawntae Spencer. Grant and Dennis discussed Oakland’s upcoming game and Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburg Steelers. Finally, Dennis talked about how Carson Palmer has played thus far.

Marshall Faulk from the NFL Network was on with Grant today to discuss the NFL season following week two. Marshall talked about new coaches and how important it is for them to establish themselves with their players. He discussed why Jim Harbaugh has been successful, and why the Raiders are in state of flux at the moment. Grant and Marshall also talked about Joshua Morgan’s mistake at the end of the Redskins and Rams game.

Jake Dalton from United States Gymnastics joined Grant today to talk about their performance at Power Balance Pavilion. Jake discussed the importance of always staying in top shape even outside an Olympic year, and what some of the most difficult events are. He also talked about judging in gymnastics and making the choice between playing baseball and being a gymnast.
