The Grant Napear Show - October 1, 2012

Former 49er and current Comcast analyst Dennis Brown discusses the Niners' stomping of the New York Jets on Sunday. Brown points out that the team is now 2-0 on east coast road trips when staying in Ohio for the week before the game, and weighs whether the game was more of a positive for San Francisco or a negative for the Jets.

Mike Pereira, Fox's NFL rules analyst and former VP of officiating for the NFL, stopped by the studio and spent a couple of segments fielding questions from callers about various rules.

Phil Simms called in during Pereira's second segment and the three chatted about multiple NFL topics. Simms said the lone bright spot for the Raiders this season has been the play of Carson Palmer, whose biggest problem this season has been a lack of a decent supporting cast.

Head Coach Dennis Allen of the Oakland Raiders says that Carson Palmer is meeting his expectations despite the team's overall struggles before outlining his plan to keep the team's attitude positive moving forward after getting thrashed in Denver this weekend at the hands of Peyton Manning and the Broncos.
