WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – One student and an adult were hurt in an accident involving a school bus Wednesday morning in West Sacramento.

The accident happened just after 7:30 a.m. at Merkley Avenue near West Capitol Avenue.

West Sacramento police say the driver of a white sedan ran a stop sign and collided with a Washington Unified School District bus.

One student on the bus was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the sedan was also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
