High School Teacher Arrested For Inappropriate Relationship With Student

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - An Inderkum High School teacher has been arrested on charges of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Rebekah Cyr, 33, was arrested after she turned herself in to Sacramento police Thursday.

On Sept. 12, the Sacramento Police Department and Natomas Unified School District began investigating allegations of inappropriate conduct between Cyr and a 17-year-old male student, which led to the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office issuing two warrants for her arrest.

Cyr was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Jail on charges of molesting a child and making inappropriate phone calls.
