Baddest Tailgating Mobiles In San Francisco

Tailgating can be a chore. You've got to prep the food, stock the coolers, pack the gear and drive to the stadium. But if you don't want to work your tail off to tailgate at San Francisco 49ers games, you can let someone else do the steering – literally and figuratively. And you can ride and tailgate in style.

Several companies in Northern California offer a party on wheels for 49ers games. Here's a look at some of the businesses that provide mobile merriment for 49ers fans.

Bay Party Bus

"Have bars, will travel" might be an appropriate slogan for Bay Party Bus.

Aside from being equipped with TVs, this company's party buses feature two bars stocked with vodka, rum, beer and other beverages. Some of the buses even come with party strobe lights and other bells and whistles. Wrap-around seating can accommodate as many as 45 people.

Bowl Bus
(855) 725-5928

Bowl Bus bills itself as the "fun, safe and green way" to tailgate. It rents luxury charter buses through an online reservation system. The buses feature restrooms, TVs, DVD players and PA systems. Some even have Wi-Fi service and power outlets.

"Our shuttle service gets you to the game and back for less than the cost of gas and parking," Bowl Bus says on its website. "We extend the tailgate experience through your travel time while you get to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride."

Cali Party Bus
(415) 692-1465

This company claims it "throws the biggest, loudest, most delicious parties at the stadium." Some 49ers tailgaters might take issue with that assessment. Nonetheless, Cali Party Bus does appear to know how to kick the tail of tailgating.

Aside from watching NFL Sunday Ticket on Direct TV, you can chow down on a buffet complete with carne asada, pollo asado, tortilla chips, guacamole, salsa and grilled veggies, all while guzzling down "adult" beverages. Oh, and let's not forget the on-bus DJ and the tailgating tents, tables and chairs.

49ers Experience
(877) 494-9377

The 49ers Experience is like a Greyhound bus on steroids. The upper-end bus package includes round-trip transportation, a game ticket, a ticket to the official 49ers tailgate party, a game-day program and a food-and-beverage coupon.

And here's a bonus: the 49ers Experience website says it has "created a unique online social media/networking experience for you and will put you in charge of customizing and personalizing your 49ers experience. We have also created an interactive site for you to share your 49ers experience, pictures, ideas and opinions with the 49ers community."

Nationwide Limousine Service
(800) 339-8936
www.nlslimo.com

Nationwide Limousine Service operates an array of party buses for 49ers fans who "are passionate about football, food and fun but not so passionate about the traffic and parking hassles at Candlestick Park." Among the amenities on the buses are bars, CD/DVD players and flat-screen TVs.
