Motel Guest Pistol-Whipped And Robbed

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Police are searching for four men they say pistol-whipped and robbed a man at a Sacramento Motel overnight.

The attacked happened around 1:30 Friday morning at the Motel 6 on Jibboom Street just off Interstate 5.

Police say a man staying there answered a knock at the door and three men rushed inside the room, two of them armed with handguns.

One of the suspects pistol-whipped the victim before stealing marijuana and cash. The three suspects then took off and got into a car with a fourth suspect driving.

The victim was not seriously hurt.
