The Don Geronimo Show – November 5, 2012
Today, Don begins by telling us why this Daylight Savings time (fall back) is the best one, and that his house, after 2 years, is finally completely moved in! We also get an in-studio visit from BiPolar Mary, who is slated to debate Blind Neal today. Neal however, got the time wrong, and instead of being at the station, is calling from his home.
After some good back and forth between our two loyal friends, we get a visit from ESPN analyst and former player/coach Herm Edwards. Herm talks with Don about being known for his “You play to win” rant from 10 years ago, his thoughts on the games this past weekend, and his transition from player to coach.
After playing few NFL clips, including Terry Bradshaw’s “bucket of chicken” comment, and some cursing by an official during the Indy/Miami game, we get a visit from our good buddy Dennis Hof. Dennis tells us about the lawsuit he has filed against one of his ladies at the Moonlite Bunny Ranch. After Dennis, Don plays a contest with the listeners to win tickets to tonight’s Kings game. The contest: Biggest Sob Story. After the guys declare a winner, Don reads the new QB conversation from profootballmock.com, and then it’s time for the “Phantom News Hour.” Today, among Phantom’s stories, The Hurricane Sandy Concert raised $23 million, Mayor Bloomberg cancelled the New York Marathon, a Cee Lo Green assault charge update, and Mark Cuban offers Donald Trump $1 million to shave his head. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
