Today on the Grant Napear Show, there was a lot of talk about week nine in the NFL, as well as the Sacramento Kings’ home opener against the Golden State Warriors. Callers talked to Grant about the New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers, the Kings’ lineup and the Oakland Raiders. Grant interviewed Matt Steinmetz and Dennis Allen.

Matt Steinmetz from CSN Bay Area was on with Grant today to talk about the Warriors as they head into Monday’s game against the Kings. Matt talked about Andrew Bogut’s playing time, the loss of Brandon Rush, and how Harrison Barnes looks early on in the season. He also talked about the Warriors’ starting lineup, what they’ll need to do to make the postseason and how health is key to Golden State’s success this year.

Dennis Allen, head coach of the Oakland Raiders, joined Grant to discuss Oakland’s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He talked about the team not quitting despite trailing late in the game, communication issues on offense and gave updates on the injured Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson. Coach Allen also discussed Oakland’s upcoming matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, and how the dynamics within the team are doing through eight weeks.
