ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – The parking lot at a popular Roseville shopping center is a muddy mess after a broken fire hydrant flooded it early Monday morning.
Roseville police say a delivery truck accidentally hit a fire hydrant in a parking lot of strip mall on Sierra College Boulevard near Douglas Boulevard.
Gallons of water gushed from the hydrant before fire crews got the water shut off.
No major damage to stores at the center is reported. However, a layer of mud covers much of the parking lot even obscuring painted parking lines and stop signs.
