SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sacramento police searched from the air and on the ground for the gunmen in a Natomas apartment complex shooting on Wednesday.

Police responded to the Shell gas station at the corner of W. El Camino and Gateway Oaks Drive at around 5:25 p.m. when they found two men in their 40s with non-life threatening injuries. Investigators don’t know if the weapon was either a gun or a pellet gun.

The shooting occurred a couple of blocks away from the gas station at an apartment complex on Gateway Oaks Drive.

Both men have been transported to nearby hospitals.
