MODESTO (CBS13) – One person was shot at a convenience in Modesto on Saturday night.

Police were called out to Alex & Sons Market at 515 N. Martin Luther King Blvd. at 8 p.m. on reports of gun fire.

One person in the market suffered a gunshot wound, according to a Modesto Police Department spokesman. He is in serious condition, but feeling well enough to talk to police.

A second person at the market had some kind of medical emergency.
