The Don Geronimo Show - December 4, 2012

We begin the morning with Don's Facebook post about a cell phone commercial that aired during the football game last night, and the backlash he received from listeners last night as a result. We also hear that Don got a ticket in the mail for a red light violation he apparently committed on the night of the Frank Caliendo show, and it costs $450. Don then plays us a video of a magician getting his head set on fire during the filming of a TV show in the Dominican Republic. The guy lives in Chico, and Don suggests that Little Joe try to get him on the show.

We then hear about a woman who was leaking brain fluid out of her nose, and as listeners call in with stories of their own about that happening, the magician emails Little Joe back, and says he'll be back in town in a couple weeks, and would love to come on the show! We also get a visit from comedian Jim Breuer. Jim, who is performing at Cobb's Comedy Club in S.F. this weekend, talks about podcasts vs. terrestrial radio these days, the abysmal state of Rock n' Roll, giving up pot, and how Louis C.K. has revolutionized stand up comedy.

After Jim, we hear DMX singing "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer," and then it's time for "Make Drew Laugh." We then get a visit from NFL on FOX broadcaster Daryl Johnston. "Moose" talks with Don about the severity of concussions in the NFL, his own neck injury, what Jimmy Johnson was really like off the field, and why the 11-1 Atlanta Falcons aren't getting the credit they deserve. After a discussion on interracial relationships, It's time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, among the stories: "Walking Dead" finale gets 10.5 million viewers, Newt Gingrich will guest star on "Parks & Rec," Rod Stewart and Stevie Winwood announce a tour, and a new burger joint in Chattanooga called "Sofa King Juicy Burgers." And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
