CARMICHAEL (CBS13) – Sheriff’s deputies sent a K9 officer into a Carmichael Big Lots store Monday morning searching for burglary suspects.
Deputies went to the store on Gibbons and Fair Oaks Boulevard after a silent burglary alarm went off before dawn Monday.
As they arrived, a deputy saw someone running from the back side of the store with what looked like a computer keyboard.
A preliminary search showed thieves had taken two cash registers from inside the store, but the registers had no cash inside.
The suspect broke in through the furniture side of the store before getting into the main store.
Deputies are still looking for anyone involved.
