NATOMAS (CBS13) – Investigators are trying to determine if squatters caused a fire at a vacant home in Natomas Tuesday morning.

Firefighters arrived to the home on Santa Ana Avenue to find flames shooting from a detached garage on the property.

The fire quickly spread from the home to the garage.

The garage is a complete loss. The home has minimal damage.

Firefighters say their main concern was keeping the fire from spreading to neighboring homes.

No injuries were reported.
