Sheriff's Department Searching For 13-Year-Old Sacramento Girl

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is asking for assistance in locating a 13-year-old girl missing since Wednesday morning.

Kaylecia Jackson was last seen at 8 a.m. Wednesday leaving her home in the 6400 block of Wire Drive in Sacramento to go to school.

She reportedly never arrived at school, and her whereabouts since walking away from home are unknown.

Kaylecia is described as black, 5 feet, 6 inches and about 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She has a history of running away, the sheriff's department said.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of this missing teenager is asked to call the sheriff's office at (916) 874-5115.
