FAIRFIELD (CBS13) – Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a Fairfield 7-Eleven store over the weekend.

On Sunday, officers responded to the robbery on Phenix Drive just before 1 a.m. Two unidentified male suspects purchased an item, but when store clerk opened the cash register, one of the suspects pulled out a chrome revolver. That suspect attempted to take money from the open cash register. They then took some merchandise from the counter before fleeing on foot.

Minutes later, police responded to a similar robbery at a Valero gas station on North Texas Street. The same two unidentified suspects were seen entering the gas station and repeated the same routine.

One suspect is described as a black male adult, 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot-11-inches tall, with short black hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket, white t-shirt, black and gray scarf, and a black beanie cap.
